A little about us...
Our Mission: The Peninsula Yoga Circle was founded in 2000 to nourish and promote the practice of yoga throughout the Tidewater Peninsula. We offer a variety of ongoing classes at different levels to meet the needs of the individual, as well as occasional workshops on topics such as back care, stress reduction, and meditation.
Our Teaching Methods: Each class provides a full spectrum of experiences:
movements to strengthen and stretch muscles, breathing techniques to nourish the body and support the cardiovascular and respiratory systems, and guided relaxation and meditation times to calm the mind and foster a sense of total well-being.
Our Motto: We believe yoga is accessible to anyone who wants to try it.
You can be of any body type, any age, fit or unfit, flexible or inflexible.
Whether you’re an experienced yoga practitioner, new to yoga, or recovering from illness or injury, we can help you find a class that is just right for you.
